CarterBaldwin Executive Search is proud to partner again with Feed the Children in the naming of Emily Callahan as their next Chief Executive Officer. She will replace retiring CEO Travis Arnold and begin serving in January 2025.

Emily brings more than 25 years of experience working in both the nonprofit and corporate sectors to Feed, most recently from ALSAC, the fundraising and awareness organization of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. As Chief Marketing Officer there, Emily helped grow revenues from $600M to more than $2.5B in 50+ consecutive quarters of growth.

Prior to her work at ALSAC, Emily was Senior Vice President of Global Marketing & Networks at Susan G. Komen®. She also served as the vice chair for the Association of National Advertisers and is a founder and chair of The Memphis Brand, one of the nation’s only place-based branding initiatives.

A gifted strategist, Emily has been recognized for the CMO Club’s CMO Officers Award, PR Week’s Hall of Femme, and both Dallas and Memphis Business Journals’ 40 Under 40 lists for her impactful work.

“It is the honor of a lifetime to return home to join Feed the Children, reconnecting with my community and serving alongside our partners, children and families around the world,” Emily said. “Together, we can be a powerful movement, improving the lives of thousands of children and families who need us most.”

A native Oklahoman, Emily holds an MS in journalism from the University of North Texas and a BA in journalism and marketing management from Baylor University.
