CarterBaldwin Executive Search is pleased to announce the appointment of Christina “Chris” Klem as Vice President, Marketing for PE-backed (Wellspring Capital Management) disposable tableware company, Hoffmaster Group, Inc.

Chris joins Hoffmaster with 20+ years of varied marketing experience, most recently from Illinois Tool Works (NYSE: ITW) where she was a member of the division leadership team and directed the marketing and business strategy for their Residential and Renovation Division. Prior to ITW, Chris was the Director, Product Marketing – Americas for the Chamberlain Group and led the residential garage door opener brand strategy.

Chris began building her career with a solid foundation in CPG “classical” marketing at the Kellogg Company (NYSE:K) as Brand Manager for Keebler and as Director of Consumer Marketing at Solo Cup Company, where she successfully revitalized the flagship brand into a next generation product resulting in 23% sales growth.

As Hoffmaster’s first VP of Marketing, Chris will be responsible for developing and executing an omni-channel product and marketing strategy for its recently unified commercial and consumer businesses and providing strategic product solutions to expand and develop additional business across all channels.

Born and raised in Chicago, Chris earned her BA in French and International Relations from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
