CarterBaldwin Executive Search is proud to partner again with global flooring solutions company and sustainability leader, Interface, Inc., (NASDAQ: TILE) in their appointment of Michaela Peterson as Vice President of Corporate Development. As a senior member of the leadership team, Michaela will help architect the company’s long-term growth strategy through acquisitions, partnerships, and investments.
Michaela joins Interface from The Coca-Cola Company (NYSE: KO), where she served as Director of Corporate Development. There, she led end-to-end M&A process across global markets, directing cross-functional teams through strategy, valuation, negotiation, and integration. She also advised Coca-Cola’s Executive Leadership Team on capital allocation and portfolio strategy as part of the company’s long-term growth agenda.
Prior to Coca-Cola, Michaela was Manager of M&A at Mondelez International (NASDAQ: MDLZ), where she led major transactions including the acquisition of Gourmet Food Holdings in Australia.
Michaela began her post-MBA career in investment banking at Barclays (NYSE: BCS), where she executed approximately $5B in transactions across the industrials sector. She holds a BA in international studies from The University of the South and an MBA in finance and strategy from Emory University.
