Jerry Eshleman Named Head of School at The Christ School

CarterBaldwin Executive Search, together with The Christ School in Orlando, FL, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Jerry Eshleman as Head of School.

Eshleman joins The Christ School after serving in Christian education for nearly 32 years, most recently as Superintendent and CEO of Resurrection Christian Schools, in Loveland, CO. Prior to RCS, Eshleman was Superintendent for more than a decade at Cornerstone Christian Schools in San Antonio, TX.

Throughout his time in education, Eshleman has worked, taught, and consulted in K-12 schools and universities both nationally and internationally. His areas of expertise and research include leadership studies, school law, organization and administration theory, brain-based learning, emotion and cognition, adult and child development, and the neural and psychological mechanisms involved in emotion, learning and decision-making.

Eshelman earned his PhD in educational psychology from Oklahoma State University, an MA in education administration from Oral Roberts University and a BA in Christian school administration and teaching from Evangel University. He has also served on the ACSI Regional Accreditation Commissions in both Texas and Colorado, as well as participating in numerous accreditation visits with multiple accrediting agencies for K-12 and university-level institutions.
