CarterBaldwin Executive Search announces the appointment of Lori Beaty as Vice President of Finance, Chief Financial Officer for LeTourneau University.
Lori joins LeTourneau following more than a decade at Tarleton State University, where she served as the University’s Controller and most recently Chief Financial Officer and Vice President for the Division of Finance and Administration. While there, Lori championed the school’s mission to grow enrollment and provide opportunities for students to graduate with less debt and was instrumental in the school’s move to NCAA Division 1 athletics. She also served on several Texas A&M University System committees and as an adjunct faculty member for Tarlton’s College of Business Administration.
She began her career in banking and then served as an accountant and office manager for a local nursery.
Lori earned an MBA from Tarleton State University and a BS in accounting from Texas A&M-Commerce. She is also a certified public accountant in Texas.
