Project Description

CarterBaldwin Executive Search joins The Covenant School of Dallas Board of Trustees in announcing the appointment of Melissa Hill as the school’s next Head of School. She will succeed Dr. Robert Littlejohn, who will retire in June 2025.

“I have worked closely with Melissa Hill for the past six and a half years. She has excelled in every position and at every task she has taken on at Covenant, and I have been impressed with her professional growth, maturity, and wisdom over these years,” said Littlejohn. “I can’t imagine anyone better suited to guide our community through the next chapter of the Covenant story.”

Melissa has been an integral part of the Covenant School community for nearly 20 years. She has served in a variety of roles, including volunteer, Parent Teacher Fellowship leader, substitute teacher and Director of Advancement. In 2020, Melissa took on the role of Head of Logic School, where her leadership has been pivotal in the growth and development of the middle school program.

“Melissa Hill’s deep understanding of Covenant’s culture and pedagogy, her vibrant faith, and her exemplary leadership in both the Logic School and Advancement have prepared her to guide Covenant into its next chapter of excellence in classical Christian education,” said Amy Anderson, Chairman of the Board.

Melissa holds a BA in communication from Texas A&M University and is completing her master’s in educational leadership in classical education at Gordon College.
