CarterBaldwin Executive Search and Neenah, Inc. (NYSE: NP) are pleased to announce the placement of Ronald Lane as Senior Vice President of Operations.
As Neenah’s SVP of Operations, Ronald (Ron) will be at the forefront of leading the company on its continuous improvement and lean journey and will be the primary lead for the execution of strategy for all of Neenah’s global facilities. With a focus on process development, optimization, and talent development, he will serve as a key member of the senior leadership team and will be responsible for developing and implementing a best-in-class manufacturing strategy.
According to Neenah CEO, John O’Donnell, “Ron has a proven track record and broad experience especially in global manufacturing operations, he brings expertise and leadership in the manufacturing improvement processes and plan to leverage that at Neenah as we continue to build on commitment to world class operations performance.”
Ron joins Neenah from Aleris International, where he most recently served as the SVP of Global Manufacturing. Prior to Aleris, Ron held several global manufacturing and operations leadership positions within other international companies in the specialty chemical, FMCG, cosmetics, automotive, food products & aluminum industries.
Originally from Canada, Ron earned his bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Queen’s University in Ontario before continuing to INSEAD for his MBA. Ron speaks three languages as a result of his robust international working experience and he enjoys running marathons, swimming, golfing, and traveling in his free time.
