Project Description

CarterBaldwin and Redeemer City to City are pleased to announce the selection of Steve Shackelford as Chief Executive Officer.

Steve previously served as President and CFO of Corporate Capital Trust. The company currently has assets of approximately $4.3 billion and is one of the largest business development companies in the United States. Prior to his role at Corporate Capital Trust, Todd worked for PwC and a private investment management firm.

Dr. Timothy Keller, Chairman of the Redeemer City to City board, said, “The goal of CTC is to build gospel movements in global cities.  The population in cities is growing at a tremendous rate, and there has never been a greater need for churches to serve the diverse needs of cities. Developing leaders for urban ministry is at the core of our mission at CTC.  As we grow in global scope, CTC needs an executive leader to navigate the increasing complexity of this movement around the world.  I truly look forward to working with Steve to lead this ministry together.”

Steve will move to New York City and begin his role with CTC on February 1, 2017.  He assumes leadership from Bruce Terrell, who is Executive Director of Redeemer Presbyterian Church and has served as interim CEO of CTC since February 2016.

Steve holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting and a Master’s of Business Administration from Florida State University. He married his high school sweetheart, Lisa, 30 years ago. They have three adult children and one grandson. Their children live in Atlanta, Brooklyn, and Nashville.
