CarterBaldwin is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Seth Parrish as the next Director of Upper School for Trinity School of Durham and Chapel Hill.
Parrish comes to Trinity with a long career in education, including two lengthy stints as a Principal of Upper Schools. He was the head of the high school at Yongsan International School of Seoul, South Korea, a school of 915 students, before leading the Upper School of Christian Heritage School in Trumbull, CT. Parrish’s educational experience also includes a Headship at Presbyterian Christian School in Hattiesburg, MS and a decade of teaching (Upper School English, history, and Bible) and coaching (track & field, cross country, and football) at Evangelical Christian School in Memphis, TN, where he is also an alumnus.
“His rich and deep engagement with Christian education in a variety of different schools gives Seth a knowledge base, a confidence, and a competency that will serve Trinity well,” said Trinity Head of School Chip Denton. “He is committed to knowing and supporting faculty, and he loves to be with students in their classes, on the sidelines of their games, and in the audience where they are performing.”
Parrish earned his BA in English from the University of Memphis, an MS from UT Knoxville, and his EdD from Nova Southeastern University.
