CarterBaldwin Executive search announces the appointment of Ed Schaffer as Chief Financial Officer for Experiential Media Group (E/M Group), the national museum-quality exhibitor.

Best known for its Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition and Bodies…The Exhibition experiences, the E/M Group operates both permanent and virtual exhibitions to provide historical and educational content accessible to the public through new platforms. As CFO, Ed will serve as a strategic partner in accelerating anticipated post-pandemic growth and value-creation for the company and its investors.

Ed joins E/M Group following more than 14 years in finance leadership at Herschend Family Entertainment, owner of Dollywood and over 20 additional amusement parks, water parks, aquariums, and attractions across the US and Canada, where he started as Senior Director of Finance for their Aquariums business and was ultimately promoted to Vice President, Finance and Business Strategy for the Harlem Globetrotters and Herschend Entertainment Studios.

A Philadelphia native, Ed earned his BS in Business Administration and Accounting from LaSalle University.
