CarterBaldwin Executive Search and Floor & Decor (NYSE: FND) are pleased to announce the placement of Luke Olson as Vice President, Corporate Controller.
In this role, Luke will be responsible for the accounting operations of the company. He will be essential in further unifying the corporate accounting organization as one holistic team, and will be accountable for internal financial reporting, establishing corporate financial controls, managing the accounting systems, and enhancing the company’s understanding of the results of operations. He will work closely with all levels of senior management, investor relations, and operational teams.
Luke is a results-driven financial leader with expertise in developing high-performing teams and driving efficiency and value through continuous improvement. Throughout his career, he has had broad industry exposure across construction, life sciences, technology, consumer products, and financial services sectors with entities ranging in size from startups to the Fortune 500. Luke most recently served as Vice President, Corporate Controller for Beazer Homes USA, one of the nation’s top homebuilders. Prior to joining Beazer Homes, Luke held roles of increasing responsibility with the medical device manufacturer EndoChoice and was an integral part of the company’s acquisition by Boston Scientific.
Luke is originally from Iowa and holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in accounting from Brigham Young University. After completing his degrees, Luke relocated to the Atlanta area where he currently resides with his family.
