Project Description
The Lake Center Christian School Board of Trustees has unanimously selected Dr. Tim McAboy to become the next Head of School. Tim was selected following a national search led by CarterBaldwin Executive Search. He will begin leading Lake Center Christian on July 1, 2024.
McAboy is currently in his seventh year serving as Head of School at Zeeland Christian School in Zeeland, MI, a private Christian school with over 1,000 students. He previously served as the principal of Wheaton Christian Grammar School in Winfield, IL, and was an assistant professor of education and director of student teaching at Taylor University. Earlier in his career he served as elementary principal for grades 4-6 and was a fourth and fifth grade teacher at Lexington Christian Academy in Kentucky.
McAboy received his BA in social science and elementary education from Spring Arbor University, an MA in elementary education from the University of Kentucky and an EdD in educational leadership from the University of Michigan. His background also includes mission work in Taiwan.
