CarterBaldwin Executive Search together with Malibu Boats, Inc. (NASDAQ: MBUU), welcomes Taylor Peace as the company’s first Vice President, Finance and Accounting.

Ranked by Fortune as the 12th fastest growing public company in 2020, Malibu Boats has recently crossed the $1B annual revenue threshold and continues on an aggressive growth trajectory fueled by innovative brand portfolio development and acquisition. To support the fast-moving enterprise and further enhance Malibu’s financial and operational analysis, a new position and strategic financial leader was created.

In this role, Taylor will be a member of the leadership team and have worldwide responsibility for strategic and operational finance as well as the controllership function, establishing and implementing finance and accounting strategy and vision.

Taylor joins Malibu Boats from XPO Logistics where he was Senior Vice President of Finance for their Less Than Truckload (LTL) division with responsibility for ~$4B in annual revenue. Prior to XPO, Taylor was the Director of Global FP&A for Closure Systems International and division controller for Parker Hannifin – Chelsea Products Division. Taylor began his career with Terminix pest control as a senior financial analyst and spent six years at Thomas & Betts, a member of the ABB group, as division sales and marketing controller.

A Memphis, TN native, Taylor earned his MS in Accounting from the University of Memphis and his BBA from Lambuth University.
