CarterBaldwin Executive Search, together with Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp., is pleased to announce that John Thomas has been named the next president and Chief Executive Officer of the Cypress, CA tire manufacturer. He will replace Roy Bromfield, who retires this July.
John brings more than 30 years of automotive experience to Toyo, including extensive knowledge of the North American OEM and aftermarket landscape.
Most recently, John served as president and CEO of Webasto Charging Systems Inc., a division of Webasto Group, the global manufacturer of automotive ingenuities including sunroofs, heating, cooling, and battery systems, and charging solutions based in Monrovia, CA. During his 19+ years at Webasto, John grew the business by more than 5,000%, led marketing and new product initiatives, oversaw engineering integration through acquisitions, and fostered significant relationships with automotive giants.

John will oversee all departments at Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp., including sales, finance, pricing and planning, marketing, and product planning and technical services.
A Michigan native, John has a BS in Business, Marketing, and Sales from Ferris State University.
